PEAU DE BETE create de Salomée Kaspariantz

For the second rug, I wanted to tell another story.
It shows a white background with lines represent a tiger\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s stripes.
There are tigers who are born without stripes, which is the result of a genetical anomaly. They are white tigers.
They are not as well known, yet they are just as majestic and robust as striped ones.
I wanted to create this rug in hope for peace and the hope for healing, but also for the hope of living together (and united) despite our differences.

My name is Salomée Kaspariantz. I am 26 and I\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'m the director of an event-driven and interior design agency in Paris.
I\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'m passionate about interior design, fashion, art, flowers.
When I\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'m not creating decors, floral compositions or furnishing spaces, I draw, I create pieces of furniture, but I especially take the time to observe the world in which I live. It\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s us a source of inspiration. I spend my day taking photos of what I\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'m seeing and these photos - even the trivial ones - become the red line for my projects.
I\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'m not closed off to one style. I like heterogenous mixes : old parquet from old Haussmanian apartments, squeaking beneath your feet, the molding and the gilding, the antiques and ancient furniture from the era of Louis XV in contrast with the works of Verner Panton, Prouve, Marcel Vander, Philippe Starck and Yayoi Kisama whom I\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'m especially a fan of.
I love going to the Versailles Chateau when the Japanese artist, Takashi Murakami is showing.
This really illustrates my conception of interior design and even of life\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s rigorous linearity, by using noble materials, but also playful, fantastical and crazy ones.
I\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'m very attached to childhood, which is also one of my big sources of inspiration. The smells, the odors, the innocence... I idealize this period of my life. I can still see the beautiful, royal blue and gold baroque-printed tapestries on the walls of my living room, the Art Deco in my dining room and its big, warm-colored, Persian rugs going along the hallway, as if we were royalty.
I became an interior designer by remembering my childhood and the particular fascination I had for the furniture surrounding me.
