The Design for this work is inspired by a quote from Hannah Arendt: "For the wind of thoughts to get up it is necessary to open the windows." The work was created during a stay in Prague in 2015 in Prague where the artist dealt intensely with the political theorist Hannah Arendt and her work.

Inspiriert ist der Entwurf von einem Zitat Hannah Arendts: "Damit die Winde des Denkens aufkommen können, ist es notwendig, die Fenster zu öffnen." Er entstand während eines Auslandsaufenthaltes 2015 in Prag, bei der persönlichen Auseinandersetzung mit der politischen-theoretikerin Hannah Arendt.

Despre Caroline Siegmund

Caroline Siegmund is a student at the Burg Giebichenstein Kunsthochschule Halle in the Department of Textile Design. Her work and studies are characterized by working and experimenting with different materials, forms and colors. She combines colors and materials in a way that provides her the opportunity to express and reflect her thoughts and perceptions on current developments. The selection and composition of colors are at the core of the design process and play a crucial role in her work.

Caroline Siegmund ist Studentin der Burg Giebichenstein Kunsthochschule Halle im Fachbereich Textildesign. Das experimentelle arbeiten und ausprobieren mit den unterschiedlichsten Mitteln und Medien bestimmen ihr Studium. Auch der Bezug zu aktuellen Themen fließen oft in ihre Gestaltung mit ein. Dabei spielt neben der Idee vor allem die Farbe eine entscheidende Rolle.
